Imagine if the trade winds suddenly reversed. Or if the tide changed its mind on the Thames. There would’ve been havoc for shipping, back in the day.

That’s the best analogy I’ve got for what Nigel Farage is predicting will happen to UK financial markets in coming years.

Inflation and deflation might not sink anything in and of themselves. But they do completely alter investment trends.

Those who prepare can protect themselves or take advantage. The rest will find themselves adrift, confused and disappointed.
